Mosquito Control District to conduct Aerial Spray in response to large numbers of nuisance mosquitoes.

The West Umatilla Mosquito Control District will be conducting targeted aerial mosquito control spraying with a twin engine airplane after sunset on Saturday, August 16th, weather permitting. The application will be done the following day if there is a delay because of weather. The application is taking place in response to a large hatch of mosquitoes Northeast of Hermiston along Highway 730. The spray area starts at North Ott Road and takes in parts of Craig Road and areas along Progress and Spearman Road.
